Jefferson bed

This slatted bed frame has a demountable frame using pegged mortise and tenon joints to allow easy access up stairs. The bent beechwood slats give a firm but sprung support to the mattress.

The shaped headboard is constructed from laminated oak strips with 3000 year old bog oak dowel detailing that matches the construction of the bedside drawers.

The oak bedside drawers have a pop-out shelf and shaped drawer fronts the same bog oak detailing.
