Sleigh bed and cherry bedroom furniture

A very traditional looking bedroom for us but we used our techniques for shaping and detailing to give the furniture a true luxury feel.

The beautiful oiled and waxed cherry and walnut suit this interior of an old Rectory, giving warmth and character to this sumptuous room.

The bow fronted tall boy has six drawers on fully extending hidden runners with "soft close". The huge sleigh bed is in solid cherry with slatted base.

The tall cabinet contains a pop out flat screen TV on a turntable. We also made the radiator cover, bedside tables and stool.

Next to this bedroom is a fully fitted dressing room which we made in a beautiful figured Sycamore with Cherry panels to give a visual link to the main bedroom. The area was quite narrow so the Sycamore provided a light reflective surface to brighten up what could have been a very dark space. We made and fitted a full length mirror to the end wall to enhance the feeling of light and space.
