Fitted mud room

We were asked to design some fitted storage for a reception room in Nottinghamshire.

The client liked the idea of having a mud room; somewhere to hang coats, store boots, hats, gloves etc.

We designed this large fitted piece which maximises storge and also hides gas and electrical meters with accessible doors.

We used oak for the main part of the cabinet and contrasted this by using fumed oak for the seat. There are two drawers on soft close runners, a large wardrobe, four large storage areas at the top and an ottoman style compartment under the seat along with some extra coat hooks on the wood panelled wall which were selected by the client.
