Leon 8 - 24 seater extending dining table and 8 Leon dining chairs

The Leon dining table is designed to reflect some of the details from the chapel that the client was rennovating without looking like a period piece or too traditional. Some simple curves within the design of the legs and the pedestal help it sit comfortably in the room and still have an incredible impact within the space. The central pedestal also gives a good integrated space to store the 6 leaves from the table. The pedestal has felt-lined racking inside to keep the leaves safe and organised, and a door to hide them away when not in use.

The entire table is made from oak which has been ‘fumed’ to give it a lovely rich dark colour. We used brass and bog oak for the details which link with the chairs nicely. The table is 76cm high, 1.1m wide. At the smallest size it sits at 2.3m long and extends with six 46cm leaves to grow to just over 5m long. Sizes can be altered to suit as each table is made to order.
